Who is it For?
International NGOs, national civil society organizations, research institutions, and consortia with proven experience in WASH and climate adaptation. Priority given to organizations operating in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
Priorities
Climate-resilient WASH services, community-led total sanitation, water safety planning, and cross-sectoral integration with health and education.
Eligibility
Organizations must have at least 5 years of WASH implementation experience, a robust safeguarding policy, and demonstrated capacity for large-scale training and M&E. Joint proposals from consortia with complementary expertise are encouraged.
Path to Success
Phase 1: Conduct a needs assessment using data analysis tools from our 'Data Analysis for Project Management' course to identify gaps in WASH service delivery. Phase 2: Design a capacity-building curriculum integrating UNICEF's climate framework, applying project management principles from 'Project Planning and Management'. Phase 3: Deliver training on WASH operations and financial management using GSLI's 'Water, Sanitation, Hygiene Training Workshop' and 'Financial Management for NGOs' to ensure sustainability. Phase 4: Establish an M&E system leveraging GSLI's 'Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning' course for longitudinal impact validation. This approach positions GSLI as a technical partner that institutionalizes best practices.
